Unconstitutional Politics

OBAMSTITUTION - Your rights are what I tell you they are.

PRESIDENTIAL TOILET PAPER - Formerly known as The Constitution.

SEE YOU IN COURT - 10TH AMENDMENT CHALLENGE TO OBAMACARE -

AH, CHRIST! - There's that damn Constitution thing again.

ILLEGAL EXECUTIVE ORDER - About to lose your reelection? Create a 'transparency’ E.O. that threatens companies that donate to the other side (don't forget to exclude union buddies). BTW, this violates the Supreme Court's ruling in Jan '10.

Easy, the database was corrupted and posters/comments for the last few days were lost. See the Forum over at Motifake.

"and you know republicans, just because something is untrue doesnt mean they wont believe in it wholeheartedly. and its not like they do it maliciously, they are just victims of confirmation bias. its a strawman which they perceive as truth."
terroraustralis - April 16, 2013, 8:22 pm
yes its a strawman, but its a strawman that republicans wholeheartedly beleive. and there will be no compromise, until they are made to realise that it is not true.
terroraustralis - April 16, 2013, 8:18 pm
strange... i replied to this already, and the replies were deleted... by the government?...
PapaFox - April 11, 2013, 6:57 pm
"...democrats hate the second ammendment..." Strawman much?
terroraustralis - April 11, 2013, 6:31 pm
republicans hate seperation of church and state, and democrats hate the second ammendment. until the supporters of one party learn to accept the constitution in its entirety, it will always be under attack.
terroraustralis - April 11, 2013, 6:30 pm
well, the constitutional party these days is the libertarian party, and they're never going to win an election simply due to the way voting works. if you vote for a third party you're throwing away your choice between the big two.
Renza - April 11, 2013, 12:03 pm
yeah, if only modern republicans cared about upholding the whole of the constitution we might not have to worry about them trying to create a state religion, fundamentalists only care about their fundamentals though.
PapaFox - April 11, 2013, 11:08 am
That's why I'm glad the Founding Fathers included the separation of church & state. They knew from European experiences just how horrific religious wars could be.
terroraustralis - April 11, 2013, 10:44 am
islamic law is islamic culture in most islamic countries, because they ostracise and attack any permanent residents who refuse to follow their ideology, and thats the main problem. intolerance of other beleif systems is what makes fundamentals dangerous.
Renza - April 11, 2013, 7:33 am
agreed, any fundamentalist really, they're all extremists of whatever fundamentals they claim to support, and are detrimental to the progression of our species, as they're openly admitting to being opposed to change, which will happen anyway.
PapaFox - April 10, 2013, 7:43 pm
Muslim fundamentalists, Christian fundamentalists -- they're pretty much interchangeable.
Renza - April 10, 2013, 7:16 pm
I'd argue that it's more middle eastern culture rather than islamic law, but the point's still valid. but yes, the fundies in NC are definitely extremists, same for AZ. Fundy extremists (guess thats redundant...) have way too much power in this country
terroraustralis - April 10, 2013, 5:53 pm
only because most idiots dont recognise that sharia law is just the islamic version of what christian fundamentalists are trying to impose in north carolina...
Renza - April 10, 2013, 10:44 am
Yeah, it's a lot more viable of an argument in the middle east. Not so much in the US though.
BobbEdwards - April 10, 2013, 10:32 am
Anyway, I kept it simple because I agree with her statement, her right to express it and the way she expressed it. Nothing more needed to be added. Sharia is institutionalized repression at its worst, the poster law for separation of church and state.
BobbEdwards - April 10, 2013, 10:24 am
She's Aliaa Magda Elmahdy, an Egyptian activist forced to leave her country after posting a n**e pic of herself on her blog. Now she's a member of FEMEN, the European protest group that recently ph**obombed Putin. This ph**o was taken in Stockholm.
PapaFox - April 10, 2013, 9:36 am
I a**ume for the international attention?
Renza - April 10, 2013, 9:15 am
It would be entertaining at least. Though I do have one big problem with this picture as a whole... why is the writing on her in English, while she's holding an Egyptian flag?
PapaFox - April 10, 2013, 8:49 am
A protest like this would be an appropriate response to North Carolina's proposed state religion.
Renza - April 10, 2013, 8:38 am
it's a great way to get attention, its actually a terrible way to make a point, with the exception of course of the point being a euphemism. Also, arguing about the validity of sharia law in this country is the same as arguing paranoid conspiracy.
ipaprime - April 10, 2013, 8:21 am
great way to make a point
